Growing up in Victoria, Linda developed a great interest in her family's history through her grandmother's stories, recollections and artwork. A descendant of the Brabralung people of the Kurnai tribe, East Gippsland, Linda explores the traditions of her heritage in her art. Her acrylic paintings on canvas, hand painted gift cards and brightly coloured ceramics depict images from her grandmother's tales of animal totems and tribal symbolism. A resident of Queensland's Gold Coast, Linda also paints didgeridoos and boomerangs and spends much of her time investigating her own background and all forms of Aboriginality from around Australia.
